2000 7.3 oil leak

I found a small puddle of oil under my truck after starting and letting it warm up apears to have come from drivers side about half way down motor doesnt apear to be leaking anymore

Does it appear to be coming from the front of the motor? I have the same problem and was told that the plug that drains the oil rail could be loose. I removed the bracket that holds the alt. and power steering pump, tightened the plug but it still leaks. Have you gotten any info since you posted this?

Mine is leaking there too. It's a seal in the oil cooler. There is a diagram in the tech files with brief instructions. Does anyone know the level of difficulty in removing the cooler and replacing the seals?

my son changed his on his 95 OBS took about 3 hrs . he had to drain cooling system and changed the oil after he changed the O rings.
