I previously posted in the 911 forum but I thought I would try this one instead. I have a 1280 code that keeps popping up when driving down the road typically at a steady speed, then small shudder which ulitimately throws the code. In most cases the light will disappear quickly.
Now when this all started I pulled a 470 & 1280 so I took the truck to a mechanic and they threw on the scanner and concluded that my EBS and ICP sensors were bad. The mechanic ran a buzz test and contribution test with no codes or bad results. I have no oil leaks around the HPOP and no smoking or starting issues.
After spending over $300 for the sensors and installing them, I keep getting the 1280 code. To make matters worse, the truck died at the car wash while just idling there (it did start right back up) but this issue is starting make me wonder if I am going to end up on the side of the road!
Any help would be great...
