how to test for boost leakage?

i have a 2000 f350 7.3 turbo auto. i have had 2 other trucks with the 7.3 turbo and this one just doesnt seem to have the power that the others did. what should i be checking for? it just seems that the turbo isnt putting out enough, how can i check for leakage? any help would be great thanks

easiest way to see what the turbo is doing is get a boost gauge and let us know what it says at wide open throttle....

do you have anyway of pulling codes? there might be something there that tells us something....
