02 hard cranking

well i went out to start my pickup to go to work this morning and it started cranking like the batteries were dead. i checked them with a volt meater and they both have 13 volts. if i let the glow plugs cycle 5 or 6 times it cranks fine and i always leave it pluged in. any ideas? the batteries, starter,and alt. are all less than 3 months old. oh yeah, and is 5 degrees this morning

Do a search on here for testing your glow plug system.

yea its your glow plug system... you just need to do some tests to find out if its the GPR/GPCM or the GP's themselves... or both...
