no turbo boost
Just recently my 2000 F250 7.3 diesel lost it's turbo boost. It isn't making any noise but has no 'get up and go'. I pulled the intake hose off from the air filter and can see the turbo spinning. I tightened all the clamps i could find and changed the air filter. I read in my Haynes Repair Manual that it may be the wastegate valve. Can anyone tell me how to inspect the WGV to see if indeed it opens and closes and where exactly it is. Do I have to remove the turbo to get to it? Can it stick open and what might cause this? Any other suggestions of other things that might be the reason for the turbo not to work? Is there a better repair manual than Haynes?

I am having the same trouble. I had it put on a meter and they told me that I have no signal coming out of the modual. Still trying to get it worked out.
