99 losing power when cold
A friend of mine recently bought an early 99 and hasn't had any problems as of yet. The truck has only 90k miles on it. I am planning to scan it for him this afternoon, but wanted to see if anyone might know of something obvious to look for.
The truck starts fine, but will lose power to the point that the truck is barely moving, after only driving about a block. It will stay running, but it will be a few minutes before it catches up. Once the truck is warm it runs fine. We have not had any cold weather to speak of yet, but could it be a glow plug issue or fuel pressure maybe??? Thanks in advance. |
