Where is the HPOP?
Hello, I'm chasing an oil leak on my 2003 7.3 There is oil all over the dust shild cover between the tranny and motor. Looks to be running down from the back side of the motor somewhere. I've been told to look at the HPOP for O-ring leak. Where exactly is it located and how do I get to it?? Thank you.

Good videos here on chasing down oil leaks on the 7.3:
POWERSTROKEHELP.COM - The Information Source for Ford Power Stroke Diesel Owners Common sources of oil leaks are the HPOP, turbo pedestal, and EBPV. If it's the HPOP, you can get a kit on eBay with the o-rings, loctite, and instructions - all for $15. Also check the HPOP lines and fittings. Good luck. |
