In my experiences when one goes bad the other will follow becuase when that one was going bad the other had to make up for the other. I'd get both sucks but helps in the long run!

replace both at the same time. if you only replace one, the week battery will always be drawing the good one down

Try and go with a red top Optima. Gel cells work a lot better and will take a beating as well. Just make sure that you get the battery hold down adapters. I have two in my truck and I dont every worry about the electrical in it.

Pull the batteries and have them tested, you may have an alternator issue and your batteries are just fine.

well the turnovers have gradually became slower and now theres nothing.
and plus the batter gauge shows that there is no voltage at all. so i think its the batteries , but thanks.

I got my truck to kill the batteries until they were gone, really gone. I emptied out the tank with the pump and left it running for a long time. I left the batteries charging and now they are fine. Maybe a little worse for the wear but they still turno the truck over fine. Take the batteries to be charged and tested and if they are good test the alternator. I do think that you may need new batteries but they don't charge anything at a lot of places to test them and it's better than paying for batteries. It's better than having to replace them when they die again a few weeks later because it was the alternator the entire time.

A way to test the batteries is put a voltage meter on either battery, put the volt meter where you can see it from the driver's seat, read your voltage, then turn the key switch to "on", if the voltage drops and is very slow to come back,(If it stays below 11 volts, it propbably won't start.) your batteries are shot. They will drop voltage as the glow plugs cycle, but if your batteries are good, when the glow plugs shut off, it should go right back to 12+ volts.

Always replace both batteries at the same time.
