Cam position sensor question

Hi there,

Ive been reading about people's cps problems and am looking for alittle reassurance before I go out and buy a cps. My 00 powerstroke will start up, run for approx 5 - 7 min and shut down asif I had turned the key off, then cant' start for about 20min. Oil level is fine, got fuel, truck is indoors so no gelled lines. I have noticed that people are saying there trucked would chug alittle before it died. Mine just shuts down. Does this sound like the cam positioning sensor?
