wicked wheel install went bad

New in cab video on third page.

So tried to do the install today turned out i already have the wheel. took off the housing the wastegate the up pipe and the down pipe thought i made sure everything was on tight but i drove the truck and my turbo is screaming loud and no real boost and no power sounds almost like a siren. Please help if u can its hunting season and i need my truck back

Have you verified that all of your boots are tight. that is usually the most common cause.

agreed..one of them boots could have ripped while taking them off or even had a rip it in and you just broke it though taking it off.

I bought the truck used so i guess that person put it on the new wheel had the same markings.

unclamped the up pipe so icould get the turbo off could not get it off so we unbolted the down pipe to do the screwdriver technique. this was all before i realize the turbo was the same. the wastegate had to come off for the housing to come off and the waste gate went on real easy.
the boots looked good ill check them out again but its 10 degrees out and snowing ill do it tommarow.

it would have been much easier to just take off the wastegate, take off the intake housing, and get the wheel off that way instead of removing the whole turbo, thats the way I did it and it took no time at all. the sound your hearing is probably normal, my new wheel whistles very loud as well, it realy gets going at around 15 pounds.

I never installed the new wheel its just very loud no power and poures black smoke with no speed?

Just the pipes and the housing lifted it off the pedistol but never all the way off then realized that i did it all for nothing when the wheel was the same.
