wandering idle
hi..
I've got a 01 7.3 on which the idle wanders a bit. it's barely noticeable on the tach. -like un-noticable unless you really stare and concentrate. it happens in a regular interval. -new fuel filter, CPS is pretty new and it did it before i installed the new CPS. What is that sensor on top of the motor between the alternator and the lift hook....is that the ICP? is that a possible suspect? thanks! |

update:
i had my truck @ ford for the cruise ctrl recall and talked to the diesel tech. He believes it's ICP related. n20: if you do it before i do, please let me know if it smooths things out.... |
