Do Cmps Always Throw A Code
Reason I ask I'm having problems diagnosing a missing problem. Easiest way
to explain what I'm hearing is It's like the injectors are pulsating squirt stop squirt stop and so on. very mild at idle but under load you can definitely here it. On straight aways it's not so bad but going up hill when your on the accelerator its constant. I read on here similar problem said he had a bad injector. Garage just unplugged each one and there was no change. No codes had at the dealer they can't find anything wrong. Did cylinder contribution test and injectors. (not sure if it was buzz test) Pulled exhaust to see if I had any leaking down. I know there known to have some lope but this was not there before. Also took it to a diesel garage and they said it was my edge attitude causing the miss, he disconnected and said it went away I picked it up and it's no diff. than when I dropped it off. I have 500.00 in diagnosing and I'm no closer to finding out whats going on. I'm thinking about just changing out the cmp and icp just to rule it out. Just did #8 injector and both wiring harnesses ran great for about a week and started going down hill on power. I did change out the fuel filter also. I ran it yesterday about 70 miles while driving it seemed to die out just for a second and came wright back that's why I was thinking about changing out the cmp. Starts fine though even when cold. Any ideas??? |
