Turbo going, going,...

So I'm pretty sure that my turbo is on it's way out the door because when i start working the truck hard the turbo makes a noise as if it is filled with glass when it begins to boost up. when it cools down it is fine though. Turbo? If so, is the gtp38r a direct drop in? how difficult is it to get to the bolts holding the turbo in?

It's very easy to get the turbo out. Takes me like 30 minutes.
