Help... 7.3L Won't Start...

Having a problem with my F250 7.3L 4x4... When I try to start the engine it tries to turn over once then stops and then there is a fast clicking sound and the guages jump around. The batteries are good... all the lights and radio come on when I turn the key to the on position...

I am thinking that it might be the starter and am looking for any opions one way or the other.

Thanks for any info.

I am willing to bet the batteries are bad. You can take one of thoes batteries and start a 460 gasser with the power left in them but not enough to crank a 7.3. What i am saying is it dosent matter if lights run radio plays that does not mean there is enough to fire that diesel.
