up-pipes

Hi, my up-pipes are leaking and I'm installing a 38r in a couple days when it gets here so I wanna get them taken care of. I remember seeing an aftermarket up-pipe somewhere on the internet that bolted 2 flat surfaces together and had a little piece of flex pipe at the top instead of the stock exhaust donuts. If anyone has seen or used these I'd like your input. thanks in advance for all the help! Matt

They are called bellowed up pipes, you order directly from a International Truck dealer. They used them stock at the Medium Duty trucks that have the 7.3 They are pricey but worth every penny, no more leaks EVER again.

I have these installed on my PSD after I had leaks from the old donuts. DO NOT replace the donuts and use the old pipes they get warped after all the exposure to the high temps.

Blows my mind why they put them in the medium duty trucks from the factory, but ford didnt want them on their trucks, its all a reliability issue. With the Donuts its innevitable that you will have to replace them, with these you never have to touch them again.

It also makes turbo removal/install ALOT easier. If you install a turbo once on these engines its a PITA to get the collector to mate up to the turbo, with the bellowed pipes you have room for the pipes to flex where you want without completely unbolting the up-pipes from the collector/manifold.

Here's the link to the site that you can order them from, or just go to your local international dealer.
Good luck!

I could be wrong but I thinkit looks like the trans would need to be removed to go with the 1-piece pipes.
