7.3 oil leak

I discover a decent oil leak . It drips pretty badly. I notice its pooling up top on the intake manifold (valley) what are my possible options. I guess i need to start taking thing off to see what's up with this? What should i look for as far as what might be leaking? any help on this before it goes to the Ford place???

!

Look at the HPOP fittings where the lines go into the drivers side of the pump. There is also a plug in the back of the HPOP that can leak. Lastly for the pump on the bottom of the drivers side right below the line fittings there is a non serviceable plug. If that 1 leaks you will need a pump. If it is any of the other 3 you can get an oring kit. If thats not the case check your boots and turbo pedistal. If its not easy to tell wash the valley out and start from scratch, you will beable to see it easier.

You can do it. Only thing you should have to take off to get a better view is the plastic engine cover. There should be some writeups on the site on this procedure.

What did you find out?

I noticed some oil dripping from the bottom back of the engine and the valley is a little wet. I felt under the boots and there was a good few drips on the upper blue boot tube. Time for the CCV mod?
I washed it up today. will see what happens.

Also did the foil delete while I had some stuff apart. Is there any thing to watch for when reinstalling the pendulum? The orange boots were nasty and kind of a pain to get back on. I am just worried that I didn't get it lined back up right.
