6.0 MAP sensor in a7.3

I put an '03 body on my 2000 SD. The 2000 has the 7.3 and the 03 had the 6.0. The map sensor for th 3 7.3 was damaged , so I'm using the sensor from the 03. The truck finally was put on the road yesterday , so it was the first time to drive it wiyh the 03 sensor. The truck seems to run strong but doesn't seem to have the surging power that my 95 OBS had at 2300 rpms. Let me hear your thoughts , I need to get a 7.3 sensor for a comparison. I don't think I would be damaging anything , just maybe loosing some performance. Thanks

I have the sensor for the 7.3 , but the connection for the vacuum line is broken off. I'll fix it to give it a try instead of spending $112 for a new one. The 6.0 sensor is only $45 , whats the difference other than the electrical values?
