7.3 VS 6.0 MAP Sensor?

Does anyone have an idea what electronically is different between a 7.3 and a 6.0 MAP sensor? My dad has a 2000 CCLB 6spd, and the body we replaced on the truck was a 03 6.0 CCLB Auto. The 7.3 sensor was broken in the crash, but the newer body had a perfectly good MAP sensor on it.

There is a difference in part #s and the 7.3 sensor at the dealer is $110.00 where the 03 6.0 sensor is only about $40.

I know the 7.3 at 20-21 psi is about 4.7volts, thats why people use the zener diode as a boost fooler.

Does anyone know what the reference volt or sensor scale is on an 03 6.0 sensor?

Just trying to find out if the 7.3 needs its specific sensor thats almost 3x the price of the 6.0 for some reason? OR if the 7.3 even uses the sensor much beside for factory defueling purposes?
