whistle at fuel supply line

truck came in yesterday complaint of a fuel leak.when it came in i noticed a whistle coming from under the hood.found right cylinder head steel fuel line had rub hole in it where the bracket fastens to the intake.replaced with new fuel line and stoped the leak.went to crank it and the engine has a whistle at the fuel supply line where it fastens to the fuel water seperator housing.move the supply line around and you can change the tone of the whistle.unscrewed fitting and checked the flare on the line and it looked good on the other hand the seal was eat up.i ordered a seal kit and replaced all line seals fired it back up with same whistle but seems not to change as much when wiggling the line or maybe it is my imagination.no fuel leaks present at any fuel line drove for several miles with same results.idles smooth with good power.pulled fuel pressure regulator and found a piece of trash stuck behind the orfice fired back up with the annoying whistle.anybody run in to this before?

mine makes a weird whistling noise also can not figure out the problem it has been to ford three times an they have yet to figure it out mine only makes the noise when you let off the gas it drives me crazy

oh i may have forgot it is noticable at idle running down the road really cant hear it.yeah some of these noises will make you pull your hair out kingranch.

I think I have the same thing. Everytime I get about like 2K RPM, driving down the road, this whisteling happens. I can't figure it out for the life of me and I can't replicate it when I am in the driveway.

Same problem here, at around 2k also, my truck as been whistling for years now, it as just got worst last week when my fan clutch seized so i hope replacing my clutch fan will take it away, if not, it almost have to be in the belt drive somewhere.

taking that fuel pressure guage is correct i am getting 66psi specs say 40 to 60.is this within what yall have read on yalls?

pulled fuel pressure regulator back off and replaced poppit valve and cleaned return fuel line and all is well
