Random AC Problem
This is completely non ford related. I have a friend with a 1996 GMC Jimmy. The compressor turns on but the air is hot. I stuck a recharge kit on the low side port and it wont suck any freon in. I have tried both the hose and the drier and both let stuff out so its none of those things. The compressor has freon and dye right around where it looks like the compressor pieces meet, like in the middle of the compressor. It appears like it could be a two piece compressor or something.
If the compressor goes on why wouldnt it suck in the freon from the cans?
