Isnt there just a bolt that hold the tube in? that how it is on my stang. u just unbolt the tube and u can pull it out try to look where the tube meets the engine if u can see in there. Sorry if this is wrong or u already tried this. just throwin stuff out there.

I've seen guys cut the cross member out, take the pan off and weld the cross member back together. Or you could just slap some duct tape over the hole and call it good

the tube does bolt to the valve cover. you can remove that and pull the tube out. The problem I am having is where the tube goes into the oil pan. some genius decided to make that removable from the pan, but the thing is that it is 2 pieces. A nut on the outside and another piece on the inside. well if that inside piece falls into the oil pan you are screwed.......

Thanks to Dirk I think I have a handle on the situation. Will update once I get it completed hopefully tomorrow.
