egt temps

ok just curious if im running to hot of egt temps i put my truck back to stock mode and running 75 interstate with 410 gears six speed im running around 880 just wanting to now if this is too hot let me now

that is a good question. my friends truck is always around 1200deg and my truck is always around 950. what is normal

I run 600F-700F at 75mph 2300rpms

What i was told was the bigger the exhaust the lower the temp, but i cant be 100% correct

I dont no i put a 4 inch down pipe to five inch stacks and it didnt really do anything for my egts

sounds about right for the gears and stock program and stock turbo, just my .02

anything over 1250 for any extended time and you're running a risk of damage
