Exclamation Stumbling 7.3

I have a 99 f-250 6 speed powerstroke, i replaced my cam sensor yesterday because my truck was stumbling when i was driving at a constant speed, it woul act like it died and lurch foreward and so i put a new cam sensor in, i already replaced the IPR, what else could cause this? Need HELP BADLY

i dont know of the fords dooing this but the dodges have a lot of trouble with the electronic throttle controll on the pedal side. did just what you are describing, as long as you aremoving the pedal its fine but when you would hold it steady it would flip out and go to idle. if you pat the throttle a couple of times it would come back.

well it does it when im on cruise controll and it acts like it dies but it picks back up right after it does it

i am not sure, i have had 4 PS trucks personally and have had several on the car lot, never had a problem with any of mine personally or on the lot. i have seen this in dodges (3or4 that i have had on the lot had this problem) it was always at a crusing speed. if you steadly moved the throttleit was fine but if you held it at a steady speed like on the highway it would go to idle... you could pat the accelerator a couple of times and it would come back and run right.

like i said i have never had this problem on a ford... might be worth getting it checked out by a someone with a computer that can read this. the accelerator position peice for the dodge is about $400... before they went bankrupt lol!!

well i know this post was i while back but i found the problem was a wire that was getting intermittently grounded in the engine wiring harness
