Transfer case noise
1'st post on this forum, hope someone can help. '02 F350 crew cab, 155,000 mi., auto trans. I'm getting a strange sqweal comming from my transfer case. It's driving me crazy cause it doesn't always do it but seems to be happening more frequently. It starts up around 30 mph and keeps whining until I drop to about 15. Whats strange is when it stops its like turning off a switch. No change in pitch as it slows down but just stops. Sound familiar to anyone?
