Just to make sure.... are you looking for the hub bearing assembly or just the needle bearings that press into the back side where the stub axle slides in at?

Also what all is involved do you have to have any special tools like Impact or anything and can the average joe put one in? Is there a wright up on here anywhere that explains how to do it like there is alot of other repair if so I couldnt find it? thanks

If you're use to any type of wrenching, then this isn't too much. If you know the hub is bad, then the replacement will have the needle bearings with it. Mine had a bad u-joint which took out the needle bearings and then the hub. Here's about the easiest way to put it:
1 - all prep stuff (e-brake, jack, jack stands, etc)
2 - Remove wheel
3 - remove c-ring for hub locker
4 - remove hub locker
5 - remove c-clip and washers (inside the hub, behind the hub locker)
6 - Remove caliper, bracket, pads, and rotor disconnect abs wire (if equipped)
7 - there are 4 bolt studs behind the hub, remove all four (may need to move the axle a little to get better access to the nuts
8 - once studs are removed, pull hub off
9 - I used a wire brush to clean everything up before installing the new
10 - install in reverse

If you have any questions while you're doing it (just did mine 2 weeks ago), PM me and I'll send you my cell number to help you

I'm not for sure on this, but that may be a hub problem. Especially if it is popping. Mine was popping a little and the hub was frozen in the auto position. I replaced the hub (both sides) with Warn Premium and the popping went away. I wish I would have gone ahead and replaced the bearing assembly while I was at it. It seems to be leaking a little oil out of the axle housing now. So while I address that I'm upgrading the whole damn thing.

im pretty sure its the bearings cause its roaring and making a noise it may be more like a little grinding also but kinda sounds like a suddle popping noise to? my friend which is a diesel mechanic told me it was bearing but that might be just from sound of it plus he had it off the ground on lift while changing all the fluids.

Not really sure about the steering. I know when my bearing went out, it would make a bang sound when I would make a sharp turn. When going straight (cruising) the steering wheel would "flutter" a little bit if I would let my hand off the wheel you could see if moving. Describe what play you have in the wheel.
