4x4 low range won't engage.
Any ideas on why my 2001 F-250 7.3L won't go into 4x4 low range? 4x4 high range works just fine however.

4 lo
I had this same problem when I first bought my Superduty. What I found out was you had to be stopped, in neutral, foot on the brake, and then wait up to 45 seconds for the stupid thing to shift.
![]() Sounds retarded, I know, but I actually resorted to reading the owners manual, and Wallah, it worked. I still hate that stupid electronic transfer case to this day, but it works for now I guess. Anyway, you might give that a try. |
