transmission temps

Hello everyone its been a long time since ive been on here and for that I apologize.

First off I need to update my sig bit dont really have time right now. New mods on the truck are lift kit running 38 inch toyos.

My problem is running around town empty with no load and not hot rodding around my trans temps are running around 180 degrees I know that is way to hot with the outside temp being 82 degrees.

I know I need to do a mod of some sort for my trans cooler but even without that I don't think I should be running that hot. I did notice a little bit of leaking tranny fluid from around the inspection plate. Is there a way to check and see if the current cooler lines are plugged and the fluid going thru the bypass? Or do you have any other ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Tru cool transmission cooler or 6.0 cooler would be good for you.
