Front driveshaft

My front driveshaft is loose. I can move it an inch or so up and down, right to left where the splines that slide in and out are. Shouldnt this be tight? I have vibration when hubs are locked in also probably due to this. Is this something that can be rebuilt, or do I just need a new one?
