7.3L Lock Up
2002 F350 SRW 4X4 Auto w/OD
First, does the torque converter even HAVE lock-up (or more appropriately, Torque Converter Clutch)???
I just got my vehicle 2 weeks ago, and finally got a chance to drive in other than rush hour and did the standard L/U test...
Everything warmed up, level road, steady speed in O/D then I lightly put on the brake with left foot. In a normal situation, you'd normally see a 200-300 RPM increase as the TCC comes out of L/U with the brake activation. On mine I don't see that, but wondered if the TCC was rigged to operate differently for the 7.3L...
If isn't getting L/U (and should) it's going to hurt my mileage some.
