I have a nv273(electronic shift) and a nv271(manual shift), my truck has the manual lever and that is what i would like to stay with, but my case is cracked bad. wanted to know if anybody has put the manual shift fork and sensor in the ecectronic case. looks to b pretty simple, just looking for an opinion or feedback. thanks

The reason I as is because I have a 271 with a crack in the front case that just makes it leak oil. It functions great aside from that. Depending on what part of the country you are in maybe we could make a good one out of the two since my rear case is good. Honestly I have considered just having my case welded but not sure what the resale value on it would be. I'm not using it anymore.

Where are you located?
