rumble around 68-71mph
I'm getting a rumble/grinding noise right around 68-71, it got quite a bit worse once I put a little load on my truck. I have a 01 f350 dually. Its a comparable sound to running over the rumble strip on the highway, any ideas?

Probably the carrier bearing or support bearing whatever you want to call it on the rear drive shaft

Mine was doing the same thing and it was the u-joint at the back next to differential, in fact it has done it twice.

I am having the same problem from 60-70 you start to hear a little vibration then from 70-80 its a very annoying sounding vibration, only thing I think looked out of shape was my driveshaft support/carrier bearing. Will be getting that replaced asap and will let you know if it helped my truck.

I replaced my carrier bearing and my u joints runs great now. The rubber around the carrier bearing was shot.
