Need help with rear hub seal.

I'm trying to replace the seal. The dealer did a vin bomb and gave me P:N 2C3Z-1177-AB. This is the wrong seal for my axle.
I tryed to install it, but it won't tighten up all the way. It still needs a 1/4" to tighten all the way. When I bolted the brake caliper on it was tight against the disk and would not spin.
The old seal has a 1/4" off set, inside that the new does not have. The dealer says it the right one. I stopped by a few part stores they all had the same seal as the dealer.
The dealer said its for a 10.5 axle.
Could I have 10.25?
How can I tell?

Does anyone know a different number?

Update: Turns out it is the right seal. The old seals inner metal band was still on the axle tube. Got the old one off and every thing fit.
