No it will not work, we have a hybrid Tq converter that will fit and doesn't require any mods.

yes and no. The 5r110 trans has a bigger output shaft. which means the transfer case off a 5r110 has a bigger input sleeve and will just slide over the 4r100 trans output shaft, you need the sun gear out of a transfer case from a 4r100 or a whole planetary.

Not intending to high jack thread, but was looking to see if question has been asked before.
I have a lead on a '04 F250 6.0 transfer case and was wondering if I can swap it into my '02 F250 7.3? I don't know the model numbers of each to give, but it sounds possible and if they are different, it could be a change or swap in the output shafts? Is that correct?
Thanks!

how about swapping the output shaft to the 5r100 would that work or would all the internals in the trans have to be changed as well

82332- it is possible with a sun gear from a 99-03 transfer case. Swap them out and it should fit!
Imported- I haven't been that far into a transmission to tell you for sure if you can swap output shafts. Sorry bud.
