Angry bad tps? help

We have a 99, build date 10/98, 7.3 auto. Started it up the other day and drove it for 5 min and then stopped to pick up some things at the shop. Got back in the truck, we let it idle, and it had no accelerator petal. I unplugged the tps and plugged it back in, still nothing. Also no engine light. Any ideas? Tps is $65 but if i plug it in i cant return it.

Also the obdII port is dead. I plugged my scanner in and it would even power up the scanner?

Thanks for the help!!

First, check the fuses. Sounds like something is blown maybe...

Yes, your OD sw wires are shorting under the column cover (very common) and you need to get in there and reinsulate them

99-03 OD wire fix (this applies to you too, the fuse was moved to pos #45 in newer trucks)
