help me! outer rear axle seals leaking 99 f350
need some input,running out of patience,i own a 99 f350,single axle, single cab 4x4 that is in mint condition,just rolled over 100k,in the last year i have replaced the drivers side outer axle seal 4 times and the passenger side twice with three different mechanics, the bearings were replaced also,walked outside tonight and my drivers side is leaking again,the truck has a 4in lift and 35s,this problem is getting very expensive and know one can figure it out,2 0f the mechanics were ford diesel guys,the last seals were done in april and i got 4k out of them if anybody has had this problem please help

I've been told that if you are having diff fluid coming out the ends of the axle, then the seals by the differential are bad. If I'm not mistaken, there isn't supposed to be any diff fluid in the axle tubes at all. Someone w/ more knowledge may chime in and help out.....

Friend of mine had this problem. Pinion was out of round thereby always ruining seals.
