Rear end help

When i put my truck in drive or reverse the rear end pops like a u joint is bad but that cant be what it is i had my trans rebuilt about 6 months ago along with all the u joints anybody have a clue on what it is?
I would greatly appreciate it

It's not uncommon for the slip yoke to make a popping noise, try pulling the dust cover and greasing it.

I had thought about that is there a alemite on it? And a special grease have to be used?

I bet it's the slip yoke, as long as it's a 2 piece drive shaft.
I drilled and tapped mine so I could grease it.

i had all my ungreaseable u joint go bad in 8 months have had the grease able ones on for almost a year.. but i grease them every 2 weeks with marine grease

I just had the same thing happen my rear end started popping I tore it down and the bolts had came loose in my rear end carrier assembly some had broken off not a common problem but its worth taking the rear diff cover off and taking a look

I took it off about 2 weeks ago to change the grease and looked over everything good besides the bolts dang I guess I'll take it off again
