vibration

Ok guys, ive got a problem with my 2000 f250. When i start my truck and put it in gear it makes a clunking noise, then when i get up to about 40mph it starts to vibrate a little bit. When im slowing down my truck starts to shake pretty good. It also does it at idle. Before I start to buy parts, is it likely to be my u-joints? Ive done a search and came up with a few different things but figured id start my own post.
