Is a esof solenoid needed?

My esof solenoid is junk. My vents don't work, and I don't have lines going to my hubs. If I just put a line from the reservoir to my vent line the work. Can I just do that because there is no reason for me to have a line going to the hubs,

My question is do I have to have the esof solenoid for my vents or can I just toss it because I don't have the vacuum hubs
