Factory limited slip not working
I checked the tag on my rear diff, it is a limited slip. Went out in the snow and the truck is a one wheel wonder. Could not get both rear tires to grab. Is the limited slip rebuildable with new clutches? Any suggestions?

I have factory limited slip in my truck also and its kinda like you describe yours
I have noticed that my truck on really slippery surfaces doesn't hook up limited slip very well, but on gravel and pavement it tends to hook up decently, But then again it is exactly that...a factory LSD i'm not sure if they are the best |

Yes the factory limited slip is rebuildable. The trick, i'm learning is finding the parts. I've been on a hunt for a couple of weeks with no luck yet. Kits for the 10.25 are out there and cheep about 60 bucks. The ones for the 10.5 are the hard ones to find from my experience.
