Question about front end noise and unrelated vibration

My truck has a strong vibration right around 40 mph. nothing before or after, and it is there with or without load. Any thoughts on that?
And second I have a occasional clunk sound in the front end when I turn the wheels, usually at lower speeds or at a stop. Only when I turn the wheel do I hear usually just one clunk from up front. And it is rare. Sign of something going bad?
Thanks for your imputs guys

The needle brgs in the ft hub will do that....

The easy test is to manually lock the hubs IN and see if the noise goes away. If it does, your needle brgs are chattering.
