Transfer case in LOW range......
....without having the hubs lock. Since someone got the great idea of taking the " Stick " out of the trucks now-a-days how are you guys doing this? I hate auto lock hubs I want to just use mine as self lock and have the ability to put the transfer case in low range while in 2wd.
I saw a thread on here a while back and the member was talking about putting a flip switch in line to disable the autolock solenoid under the hood. I am wanting to be able to put the transfer case in low 2wd if needed with out the autolock feature working. I have tried to do searches for this topic, but can not find the thread again. Any info would be helpful. Thanks Scott The truck is a 2000 F350 7.3L as saw in my sig. |

get manual lock warn hubs for $200 then you will never have that issue again.

Yea thats a option, but I had rather just spend $10 on a switch, ends and a length of wire to get the same job done. I can still use the stock hubs as manuel locks.

Aren't the hubs vacuum operated? You should be able to just take the lines off the hubs and they won't lock. I know i've talked to somebody about this before but i can't remember what they ended up doing.

Also I just checked the Warn web site and the only hub they offer for my truck says " Will not fit vehicles with dual wheels. "......Bummer
