clunk on front axle
i hope some has had this problem before and knows what might be the problem, i have a 2001 f250 4x4 with 274k on it and for the past few months i have heard a thump or clunk coming from the from. so last night when i got home i got under there and the oil was leaking from the differential and the axle has alot of play in it i have already replaced the hub. any ideas

I'm 95% sure it's gonna be needle bearings. It's a pretty common problem.
Does this resemble your problem?
