01 F250 4x4 Not engaging or showing lights on the dash

I have been workin on my buddies 4x4 on his truck and cant figure out what the hell is going on! We have checked all the fuses and relays, took the transfercase motor out and hard wired it and the electric motor works fine. There are no lights showing on the dash when the switch gets turned (tried other switch's)

Mine did that when I first got it and the only thing I did was pull the plug out of the module just below the OSS and put it back securely and it started working. My truck had electrical problems when I got it so I may have inadvertently fixed a loose connection when i was messing with the wiring harness.

I just looked in the repair manual I have and it doesn't have a schematic to see what is checked prior to engaging the 4x4. I would suggest seeing if someone can give you a schematic so you know what sensors/switches are involved in allowing the 4x4 to engage and if all that is correct it is time to start tracing wires, checking for continuity and proper voltage.
