I get a vibration up through the accelerator and floorboard of my Ex when going 55MPH and up. It only happens when on the accelerator and smoothes out when I let off. Any clues?
Thanks. |

Carrier bearing or a u joint on the drive shaft could be the reason.

Would a U-joint cause vibration only when on the gas pedal?

I checked out the U-joints today, and there's no play in them at all. There is however a clunk up into the transer-case when I push up and down on the drivshaft...not sure if that's the source of the vibration though.

Got the U-joints changed today and the vibration's still there. It also gets worse when I put my foot in it to pass and such. Any clues?
