Your over heating the clutch. I did the exact same thing, but in 1st and 2nd gear at a light once. The clutch peddle didn't come back up after I had ridden it smoking out the a$$ behind me. When I feel it happening, I lift up on the clutch peddle with my foot (pull toes toward head with foot under the peddle) and the slipping goes away. It only does it if I've been ridding the clutch hard.

mine does it all the time unless im in stock tune.. it is really bad in 6th..lol
