front end noise shock or sway bar links?

Im starting to get a noise on my 03 7.3L truck. It happens when hitting bumps i replaced the upper and lower ball joints with moog about 5k miles ago so i doubt it the balljoints and the tie rod ends were nice and tight. ARe the sway bar links known to go bad? I have procomp shocks on the truck they were on it when i bought it. Thinking about swaping them for something better. Anyway to test the sway bar links? how hard are they to replace? thanks
