hubs locked in auto, wierd

my hubs seemed to be locked in auto. i cant spin my axles so i know there locked. i read that most peoples hub failures wont allow the hub to lock in auto so they have to get out and put them in lock. wonder why mine is locked in auto? my vac pump is toast so i need to replace that as well as get some warn units. anyone seen this happen before.

Yes I have seen this. You need to change out the hub and go with some warns. I know of a guy with this problem and he was driving down the interstate and the hubs locked up and almost made him wreck. Hope this helps...
