Warn Premium hubs for a dually????
Hey Guys......I searched for definite answer but can't find one. I have an 02 F350 4x4 DRW and wanted to put the Warn Premium manual front lockouts in it as the autos dont work right. I was told that the Warn hubs will NOT fit the DRW front axle???? I asked what the difference was if the truck had a Dana 60 front axle how would the lockout know what the rear axle is??? The guy told me they wont fit and that Warn does not make a lockout for the dually? Anyone have experience and can shed some fact?
Many thanks as always! Rick Pittsburgh, PA |

Ok.....I have found some research on the problem and some say the hub adapter for the DRW needs to be removed to install the lockouts. Some on this site claim they successfully have installed and used the Warn Premium lockouts. I will continue to search and give Raul a ring.
Many thanks guys! Rick Pittsburgh, PA |

You CAN put them on a dually. The problem is that the dually spacier makes it a PITA. I have worked on a couple dually's with them on it. If you want to be sure though call Warn. I had to call Warn directly because everyone said they wouldn't fit an early 99 and they do.

Look at Zaairman post above at conversion pictures. This is my 2000 dually with warn. The auto locking hubs are junk. The warns are the way to go
![]() ![]() The reason nobody runs these on duallys is because the warn lock outs are a little bigger than the hole. I bored the hole out I think around 40 thousands. They work perfect and look alot better. Just lock them in and the switch in the cab still works the same as it did with the auto hubs. You only have to bore about 2" in length in the center of the hole for a nice tight perfect fit...![]() ![]()

I have recently purchased a 2001 Dually with 75,000 miles. The auto hubs will not engage, can only lock passenger side manually. Driver side seems to be frozen and cannot be turned manually. I am old school 4x4 drive and I am not familiar with these new auto hubs. Any advice on whether these are fixable and worth the trouble?? Thanks for any help.
