Got a strange one
I just bought a 99 sd psd 4x4. I replaced the u joints today because on inspection after buying truck found they where shot. so anyways. the prob im having is hubs locked switch in 4hi. i can take off and have 4wheel. then down the road go to take off and no 4wheel. swich switch to 2hi then back to 4hi and works for awhile. im lost on this one

If you have vacuum hubs I'd replace the seals and o-rings.

problem solved sombody unlocked one hub
