If it's an 2000 model and still has leafs under it, it's the stock straight axle, or else you'd see big ol coil springs if it were independant front end.
I have a 2001 model, same axle, I can't rememebr exactly all the steps I took , but following the directions , it should be fairly straight forward.
Clean her out well and lube her up good on disassembly/reassembly.
Make sure the outter portion of the hub is indexed correctly, or the outter will not fit snuggly into the inner shell of the new hub. Never use extreme force on the mounting bolts to pull the outter in, it should fit snug and seat fairly easy.
